Micah Lacerte started working out when he was 18 years old. Lacerte had just got to college and was always known as a skinny kid. Instantly, he loved the way his body started changing and how great he felt. The harder Micah worked and ate the better he felt and looked. Lacerte went from a 6 ’00″ 150 lb kid at age 18 to now weighing 205-225 lean year round.

How did you get started?
A friend of mine was a national powerlifting champion and he introduced me to strength training. I got the iron bug rather quickly and kept on training. Kane Sumabat’s father bought weights for his oldest brother back when Sumabat was 12 years old. It was those old plastic and concrete plates with plastic collars by York. Lowell Gloeckl played sports for most of his life and this is where he developed the passion for fitness and lifting weights. Gloeckl stopped playing school sports midway through high school when the gym became more important to him. That is when he began doing powerlifting competitions. Jason Loewy has trained for six years and at only 20 years of age has already attained pro status with the IFPA. Jason Loewy has had a great start to his natural bodybuilding career thus far with an overall win at the 2009 OCB Natural Steel Championships where he received his IFPA Natural Pro Card, Heavyweight victories in the Novice and Open divisions at the 2009 OCB Mid Atlantic Classic and a teenage class win at the 2007 OCB Spirit of America. In high school, Aaron Williamson began reading all the muscle magazines and studying material on weight training. It wasn’t until joining the US Marine Corps (and being deployed to Okinawa) that he fell in love with bodybuilding; he was “bitten by the bug!”
Vance Varian, as a kid, always admired people with muscular physiques; it was like a symbol of power to him.
