Candee Meiring first stepped foot in a gym in 1997 to improve her self image, to get a hobby, live healthier, etc. All of the normal reasons. However, after training for a few weeks, the gym owner offered to sponsor her if she would enter a fitness model contest. Within 3 months, she found herself on stage for her first show.
